The moment I had to leave my beloved mum Claire made me feel she would be cared for and safe.
Every step of the way she was there no idea to big always at the end of the phone.
I can rest knowing mum has the best possible send off with all the beloved ideas me and my daughter wishes for.

Myself and my family have recently had a great experience with Yeatman's in West Norwood. Unfortunately my children's father passed away whilst out in Portugal.
After he was repatriated from Portugal, we had decided to go with the Co-op, what a mistake. Apart from them not being ready to take him on the day he arrived, he had to be driven to Nottinghamshire, for the night and then driven back the following morning. We cancelled the contract with the Co-op on 24/03/2026, (65 days ago),and are yet to receive our deposit back, which is in the thousands. I wouldn't wish that kind of emotional pain on anybody. You might think that you are saving a bit of money by going with them but you are just a number and money to them. They really do not care.
We moved our loved one to Yeatman's, and what a difference. From the time that we had our initial meeting with Tram, one of the funeral arrangers, we knew we were with the right people. The team that dealt with myself and my family were Tram and Clare, and they couldn't have done more for us.
Ours was a particularly complex case as our loved one had come from Portugal, it looked like he may have had to go through the Coroner's, but luckily in the nick of time the paperwork was sorted, which had to be translated from Portuguese, and we were able to have the service that we wanted, on the day that we had requested.
Clare kept us informed of what was happening throughout our time with dealing with them, and showed compassion, empathy and professionalism at all times.
I would recommend Yeatman's 1000%, if you are in the unfortunate position of losing a loved one. You can be confident that they will be cared for with dignity and respect.
I would feel privileged to call Clare and Tram my friends, following our association with them.

For the help and kindness given at the time needed most

At the time when my wife Patricia (Sue) passed away from cancer I was aware that the only funeral directors to be used was Yeatmans Albert Road Poole due to the fact both of Patricia’s parents funerals had been handled with the greatest of care and supervision.

Having to go to there office to meet Vicky and the team, they were extremely professional, and very caring and efficient. Sitting down with Vicky who was patient and made everything more bearable and all was explained in a very slow and calm manner. THANK YOU

On the day of the cremation Yeatmans were extremely professional all arrangements that they made where exceptional as the Hearst the flower’s the timing and the cars along with the very smart dress code THANK YOU.

At the Bournemouth chapel Yeatmans had made all the arrangements creating the perfect and loving ceremony for Patricia. THANK YOU
Yeatmans had arranged for a celebrant to relay our thoughts and emotions to all, this was a lady from Cherished Moments this lady had the voice of an angel. Once again thank you Yeatmans .

The ladies Charlotte, Jackie and Lindsay at yeatman were wonderful during such a difficult time, they helped and spoke with me in every aspect of the arrangement and the next steps, even when I couldn’t talk through crying they was always patient. The staff on the day were great, attentive did everything we asked and went above and beyond to make a difficult day, easy. Thank you to you all!!!

I went to the A Yeatmans & Son funeral directors ( the West Norwood branch), the Staff were so friendly and caring. I found them so professional, they helped me with a headstone for my mum . They were patient as I was in a mess, they didn’t rush me and took the time to talk to me when times were hard. I would especially like to thank Zoe, who helped me through this. I went there again last year to have my father’s name, photo etc added on the headstone. Again they were very professional and caring. The masonry were also respectful and caring. They have just placed my parents headstone back onto the grave and sent me a photo as confirmation of work completed. I would especially like to thank Sherry and Linda at the masonry for their kindness. Thank you all

Emma was excellent in the way she dealt with us and handled the arrangements, treating us as people not just as clients. She found a very suitable celebrant for us,and we were very pleased with the service he gave.
Emma also helped us with the design of the order of service and looked into the arrangements for the future burial of my aunt in another part of the country.
All in all, in what are difficult circumstances, the whole process and cremation of my aunt went particularly well and we cannot thank Emma, Becky who was the funeral director on the day and the rest of the team at Yeatman & Sons enough.
Their service to us was excellent and we would highly recommend them.
